Operation manager (m/f/d) – freight forwarder

Your responsibilities:

• smooth Export and Import processing
• arrange import and export procedures with sub-contractor
• rate quotation and pricing
• check cargo status on-site at the port
• manage the sales team
• train sales team members
• correspondence with business partners incl. Japanese companies
• administrative tasks

Your profile:

• relevant working experience in a freight forwarding company or in the logistics sector
• profound knowledge of freight forwarding: air cargo, sea freight warehouse
• more than 1 year of management experience
• applicants with experience as an operation manager are also welcome
• business fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• capable to train your team members
• excellent communication and management skills
