We're looking for experienced full-time barista!

Expected Start Date: 01/04/2023

Our leading vegan café, Huadou Soy Concept Store, located in the vibrant neighborhood of Berlin-Mitte is the epitome of quality and innovation. Our menu features the best vegan specialty coffee, homemade and innovative organic vegan pastries made of tofu and soy milk, and delicious soy ice cream. We are dedicated to providing our customers with a unique and memorable dining experience.
We are seeking a barista who shares our passion for quality, innovation, and sustainability. As the face of our café, the ideal candidate will be an expert in crafting high-quality coffee bever ages and have a genuine love for the industry. In addition to making fantastic drinks, the barista will also play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
-Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages
-Promote our eco-friendly and plant-based philosophy to customers
-Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including restocking supplies as needed
-Engage with customers, building relationships and creating a welcoming environment
-Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation protocols
Requirements:
-Previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment
-Know how to make latte art
-A passion for coffee, tea, and all things related to the industry
-Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
-A commitment to eco-friendly and vegan principles
-Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed
Benefits
In addition to competitive pay, we offer a bonus system where the barista can share 3% of the net revenue of the shop. This bonus system allows our baristas to not only excel in their role but also benefit from the success of the café.
