We look for a passionate and enthusiastic IT support engineer to further expand the reach and technical capabilities of our IT support team.

Job description:
• IT Support Engineer in permanent employment at a Japanese IT service provider
• 1st / 2nd line IT support for several Japanese business customers, remote and onsite
• Regular onsite support at a customer based in Frankfurt Niederrad
• Typical customer size: 1-70 users
• Typical day-to-day support tasks include:
-Allround user support via telephone, email, ticket system, remote access and in person
-Troubleshooting
-User device installation, move, add, change, removal, disposal (IMAC/RD)
-User account registration, change, deletion
-Regular system checks and preventive maintenance work
-Server and network maintenance and administration
-Raise support cases with manufacturers or other third parties
-Create, update and maintain documentation
• Lead and/or participate in projects such as:
-PC roll-out
-System integration or migration
-Network deployment or migration
-Application and service deployment
-Site survey
-Remote hands
-IT asset disposal
• Various administrative tasks such as:
-Perform regular IT asset inventory updates
-Register warranties and manufacturer support services
-Create and maintain technical documentation
• Take responsibility as final escalation engineer (technical account manager) for selected customers
• Maintain customer relations
• Carry out pre-sales activities (systems design, product selection, proposal documents)
• Place of work: 100% remote (except onsite work)

Requirements :
• Excellent technical skills (especially Windows clients and servers in business environment)
• Proven work experience of at least 3 years as an IT support/helpdesk engineer or systems administrator
• Keen to work at a Japanese company and with Japanese customers
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Service provider mindset
• Highly reliable and well organized
• Solid time management skills
• Flexible regarding new tasks
• Drivers’ license preferred
• Native-level German or Japanese language skills
• Business-level English language skills
• Professional training in IT or studied to degree is preferred
• Prior work experience at an IT service provider, working with multiple customers, is preferred

【勤務時間他】
• 月~金 8時30分~17時00分、37.5時間/週
• 有給休暇25日(試用期間中は利用制限あり)
