Staff for Tayaki and Tapioca Drink Shop

Background information about us:

Our main business is in Japanese area Immermannstreet of Dusseldorf – Germany also referred to as “little Tokyo”. Here we have a store focusing on Tapioca Drinks and Bubble Tea like Matcha Latte as well as a second store which focusses mainly on freshly baked Tayaki and Matcha Ice-Cream and Kakigori. Both stores offer job opportunities.

Our staff represents many countries. All our staff speak English and most have German language skills at different levels.

Job Profile: Store Assistant Sales & Food/Drink Preparation

List of Tasks:
- Open the store in the morning and prepare all items for the day
- Take orders from customer and receive payments in cash or card
- Prepare small snacks and drinks according to orders by customers
- Hand over customers’ orders for take-away or inhouse consumption
- Prepare inventory lists to prepare reordering of materials
- Clean up your working area (we also have a cleaning company which does basic cleaning like Toilette and floors etc.)

Requirements:
- Be happy to work with customers in an international environment
- Be ready to work changing morning shifts or evening shifts
- Be happy to work with food products
- Be ready to work with us at least for 6-12 months (e.g. working holiday) – we can also provide a longer contract for example two years or unlimited
- Choose working time per week from 20 hours (part-time) to 40 hours (full time)
- Some English language skills are needed, German language skills are beneficial but can also be acquired during working for us and one Asian language on native level should be spoken
