The Sales Manager (Germany) will be responsible for driving the dynamic growth of world famous food brands across the German market, with a clear focus on delivering strong sales results, expanding distribution, and strengthening brand presence in both modern and traditional trade channels.

This role is primarily focused on the growth and acceleration of the brand, ensuring its commercial success and increased market share across the entire German market. The position combines hands-on sales execution with strategic business development, aiming to rebuild and expand products in Germany.

The Sales Manager will act as key representative on the German market, responsible for developing business directly with retailers, distributors, and wholesalers, while coordinating closely with European HQ and regional teams to ensure aligned execution of growth strategies.

The ideal candidate is a sales-driven professional with a proven track record in achieving commercial growth through active customer management, in-market presence, and business development initiatives that strengthen both distribution and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
Drive and grow sales of FMCG products across Germany, ensuring continuous market expansion.
Activily manage and develop relationships with existing distributors and key retail accounts.
Identify, approach, and secure new business partners — retail chains, wholesalers, and distributors — to expand market reach.
Execute in-market activities directly with customers to strengthen brand visibility and increase sell-out.
Work in close collaboration with the Export Manager to negotiate commercial terms, promotional activities, and listing conditions with customers.
Ensure full and effective product distribution in all key trade channels.
Brand and Market Management
Ensure product visibility and strong brand presence in stores by securing optimal shelf placement and brand positioning during negotiations.
Support the introduction of new products and manage product launches to expand the portfolio.
Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.

Coordination and Reporting
Act as the primary contact point between European HQ and German partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Coordinate logistics, demand planning, and product availability to guarantee market continuity.
Prepare regular business reports on sales, distribution, pricing, and market performance.
Participate in regional and international business meetings to share learnings and best practices.

Experience
Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in FMCG sales or business development, preferably in the food category.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing brands in the German market.
Experience working with national and regional retail accounts
