〇〇System Engineer, German required〇〇

Responsibilities
・Providing onsite and remote 1st and 2nd line IT support to clients, together with other members of the team, which involves understanding and following each clients’ IT policy, diagnosing and rectifying problems accurately and timely, communicating with clients at all levels, including escalating to other parts of the Company operations, vendors or partners if necessary to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
Providing efficient and effective system maintenance to clients, which includes maintaining support related documents such as site manual, device list, user manual, maintaining licenses, running inventory and registering manufacturers’ support services
・Requesting system changes to other IT teams
・Building a good and effective relationship with third-party vendors on behalf of clients
・Assisting sales team and pre-sales engineers by proposing potential projects, sharing clients’ feedback and implementing the projects if assigned
・Gaining and sharing proactively relevant and up-to-date industry and technical knowledge with the team
・Networking with relevant industry people and organisations
・Other misc. responsibilities maybe added from time to time
Requirements
・Business fluent in German and English
・Completed vocational training in IT and 2 years work experience
・Successful experience building trusted relationship with clients
・Extensive experience in managing and liaising with 3rd party vendors
・Successful troubleshooting and support experience as 1st and 2nd line support engineer on:
⋆Microsoft client operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10, etc.)
⋆Microsoft server operating systems (Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, etc.)
⋆Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
⋆Backup products such as BackupExec, ARCserve, Acronis, etc.
⋆Corporate Anti-Virus products from various manufacturers such as Symantec, Trend Micro, etc.
⋆Windows Server services (AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO, WSUS, printer queues, shared folders, etc.)
⋆LAN / WAN / WLAN networking (switching, routing, firewall, VPN, etc.)
⋆Smart Devices (iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, etc.)
⋆Various printers and MFPs
⋆Virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware)
・Familiar with corporate environments
・Strong documentation skills (technical documents, customer reports, etc.)
・Willing to travel to customer sites in country and abroad, when necessary
・Understanding of Japanese language/business culture is advantage but not essential

・Salary - €35-40,000 per annum
