草木染めワークショップ Natural dye workshop Kōgei markt

こんにちは、天然色素を利用した草木染体験を初心者向けに行っています齋藤由里加と申します🌿

今回はアボカドの皮、ウコンの粉を利用した草木染体験を行います🥑🎄

身近なものを使用して染める体験を通し、ご自宅のキッチンでもお試しいただけるような工程を組んでおります。日常に彩りを、冬も楽しく過ごせるようなきっかけに、ぜひ。

-2時間のワークショップでは、綿布を天然の色素で染める工程を共に行い、絞り染めの工程でお好きなパターンを考えながら折ったり縛ったりしていただきます。

-染めるものはコットンベースの靴下、事前にサイズをお選びいただけます。
靴下以外にも木綿のハンカチーフなど当日お好きな布も追加でご購入いただけます。

Dyeing workshop using natural things/everyday objects.

The event will take place at the Nihon Mono Christmas Market, which sells Japanese crafts and food products, and will also feature a display and sale of Japan-related crafts and other workshops.

-The dyeing process uses avocado peels and turmeric powder.
The avocado peel has a very soft pink blush, while the turmeric is a bright yellow color that was used in the past as an insect repellant.

-In this two-hour workshop, we will share the process of dyeing socks with natural dyes, and then fold and tie the socks in your favorite patterns during the tie-dyeing process.

-The items to be dyed will be cotton-based socks, and you can choose your size in advance.

Through the experience of dyeing with everyday items, we have created a process that you can try in your own kitchen at home. We hope you will join us to add color to your daily life and enjoy the winter season.
